St George’s Hospital  1818 – 1995

There were a variety of outdoor social activities over the years for patients/staff to enjoy/participate in, some of which were also attended by the local Townsfolk. These included Stafford Pageant, Garden-Parties, Sports and Fancy Dress, mostly taking place on the Cricket Pitch in front of the Hospital. There was a Male Patient Cricket Team, with regular fixtures at Home and Away, enthusiastically  playing other Hospitals.
These are a few Photos of some of those Activities through the years.
